Overview

The Georgia Athletic Hospitality interns play a vital role in the success of football, basketball, baseball, and gymnastics hospitality programs as well as athletic rental events at UGA.
These positions require excellent communication skills, the ability to think on your feet, organizational skills and enthusiasm.
The interns will work closely with UGA Athletic Donors, The Georgia Bulldog Club and other members of athletics. The interns also help manage the game day student workers.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in sports, hospitality and/or events. Georgia Athletic Hospitality hires three part-time event interns in a typical year.
Former Georgia Athletic Hospitality interns have continued their careers with the College Football Playoff, Atlanta United, the Atlanta Braves, the Aspire Group, University of Minnesota Event Management, and many more!

 

Part-Time Event Internship

Georgia Athletic Hospitality hires three part-time interns for the Fall semester, with the potential opportunity of continued work for Spring semester events. The part-time internship is open to undergraduate and graduate school students.
This position is paid hourly and primarily event and game day focused. Interns will assist with administrative tasks and are required to work all home football games and then only Men’s and Women’s basketball, gymnastics, and baseball events as assigned.
Part-time interns can expect to work 30+/- hours during the Fall semester and 15+/- hours in the Spring semester.  The part-time intern must have the ability to be flexible when it comes to scheduling.
